Kings & Queens of Ink: Southern InkFest takes place April 16–18, 2027, at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, Mississippi.
Southern InkFest brings together the Kings & Queens of Ink tattoo expo, live music, Southern food, artists, vendors, and community experiences for one weekend.
The tattoo expo and Royal Market are planned inside the Mississippi Trade Mart. Live music and additional festival experiences are planned outdoors. Final layouts and operating details will be announced before the event.

Yes. Participating artists may accept advance appointments, walk-ins, or both. Availability, pricing, deposits, and design approval are determined by each artist.
Contact the participating artist directly after the 2027 artist list is published. Southern InkFest does not schedule appointments on an artist’s behalf.
Many artists may offer walk-ins, but availability is not guaranteed. Check artist announcements and visit booths early for the best opportunity.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID. All tattooing must comply with applicable Mississippi laws, health requirements, and individual artist policies. Contact the artist before the event if you have eligibility questions.
Each participating artist controls their own tattoo pricing, appointment deposits, design process, and cancellation policy. Payments made directly to an artist are separate from Southern InkFest ticket and booth transactions.
Use the dedicated Artist Application. Applications are reviewed, and submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.
Each standard 10×10 artist booth includes two artist passes, two 6-foot tables, two chairs, and basic electrical service. Health-department fees and licensing requirements remain the artist’s responsibility.
A standard 10×10 artist booth is $600. A corner upgrade is $75. A premium 10×20 endcap with two corners is $1,350. Up to four booths may be purchased through the application; contact the event team if more are needed.
Applicants may pay a 50% deposit or the full amount. Payments become nonrefundable after acceptance; applicants who are not accepted receive a full refund. Remaining balances are due March 1, 2027.
Merchandise, art, apparel, product, and approved service vendors should use the Vendor Application. Food and beverage operators must use the food-truck application.
Self-sufficient mobile food and beverage operators should use the Food Truck Application. Applicants are responsible for required licenses, permits, insurance, fire-safety compliance, and health-department requirements.

Yes. Southern InkFest may capture photography, audio, and video for security, documentation, promotion, and media coverage. Event notices and applicable ticket terms will provide additional information.
