1. Our Commitment
Kings & Queens of Ink Tattoo Expo, LLC is committed to improving access to the Kings & Queens of Ink: Southern InkFest website, online services, communications, and in-person event experience for people with disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. We welcome feedback, work to address identified barriers, and consider reasonable accommodation requests based on individual needs, event operations, safety, venue conditions, and applicable law.
2. Website Accessibility Goal
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (“WCAG”) 2.2 Level AA as a technical goal for website improvements. WCAG is an internationally recognized standard for making digital content more perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust.
Stating this goal does not mean that every page, document, form, or third-party feature currently satisfies every WCAG success criterion. We continue to evaluate and improve the website as content and integrations change.
3. Accessibility Features and Practices
Our website design and maintenance efforts may include:
- logical headings and page structure;
- keyboard-accessible links, controls, forms, and navigation where supported;
- visible focus indicators;
- text alternatives for meaningful images;
- labels, instructions, and error messages for form fields;
- color contrast and information that does not rely on color alone;
- responsive layouts that support zoom and smaller screens;
- descriptive links and readable language;
- captions, transcripts, or alternatives for important multimedia when reasonably available; and
- testing with automated tools and manual review.
4. Online Forms and Payments
Our website uses Fluent Forms for applications and inquiries and Stripe for payment processing. We work to make instructions, required fields, validation messages, conditional questions, agreements, and payment steps understandable and operable.
If a form, upload field, CAPTCHA, payment interface, or other feature prevents you from completing a transaction because of a disability, use the accommodation contact process below. Do not send complete card numbers, passwords, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through the general contact form.
Contacting us about a barrier does not automatically extend an application or payment deadline, so please reach out as early as possible.
5. Third-Party Content and Services
Some website functions or linked services are operated by third parties, including payment processors, maps, social networks, ticketing providers, embedded media, hotels, artists, vendors, or other external platforms. We do not control every aspect of their accessibility.
If an external service creates a barrier, let us know. When reasonably possible, we will help identify another way to access the information or complete the requested interaction, but we cannot guarantee changes to a third party’s platform.
6. Event Accessibility
Southern InkFest is scheduled for April 16–18, 2027, at the Mississippi State Fairgrounds in Jackson, Mississippi. The tattoo expo and Royal Market are planned inside the Mississippi Trade Mart, with live music and other festival activity planned outdoors.
Final accessible entrances, routes, parking, seating or viewing areas, restroom information, drop-off locations, and venue maps will be published as event and site plans are confirmed. Conditions may differ between indoor and outdoor areas, and some outdoor surfaces may be affected by weather.
7. Requesting an Accommodation
To request a reasonable accommodation or communication aid:
- Visit the Contact page.
- Select Accessibility Request from the inquiry menu.
- Describe the event activity, date, website feature, or communication involved and the accommodation requested.
- Provide a preferred method for our team to contact you.
Please submit event accommodation requests as early as reasonably possible. Advance notice gives us more time to evaluate the request, coordinate with the venue or service providers, and identify an effective option. We will consider late requests, but some arrangements may require lead time or depend on availability.
You do not need to provide a diagnosis. Share only the functional information reasonably needed to understand and respond to the request.
8. Communication and Alternative Formats
Reasonable communication aids or alternative formats may include accessible electronic text, large-print information, captioning, interpretation, assistive listening, or another effective method, depending on the communication, request, timing, and available resources.
If important website information is not usable in its current format, request an alternative through the Contact page and identify the page or document involved.
9. Service Animals
Service animals are permitted in public event areas in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other applicable requirements. Under the ADA, a service animal is generally a dog individually trained to perform work or tasks for a person with a disability. Dogs whose sole function is emotional support or comfort do not qualify as service animals under the ADA.
A service animal must remain under the handler’s control and be harnessed, leashed, or tethered unless those devices interfere with the animal’s work or the handler’s disability prevents their use; in that situation, control must be maintained through voice, signal, or other effective means.
Event personnel are not responsible for the care, feeding, supervision, or toileting of a service animal. An animal may be excluded where permitted by law, including when it is out of control and the handler does not take effective action or when it is not housebroken.
10. Report a Website Barrier
If you experience an accessibility barrier, please tell us through the Contact page and select Accessibility Request. Helpful details include:
- the webpage address or name;
- the feature, form field, link, document, image, or video involved;
- the device, browser, and assistive technology used, if you are comfortable sharing them;
- what you were trying to accomplish; and
- a preferred way for us to respond.
We will review accessibility feedback and use it to guide corrections and future improvements. Response and remediation time may vary based on the nature, complexity, technology, and third-party involvement.
