Event Policies
Please review these guidelines before attending Kings & Queens of Ink: Southern InkFest, April 16–18, 2027.
Admission & Tickets
A valid ticket or authorized credential is required for entry. Tickets are valid only for the date or dates shown and may be scanned or otherwise verified at entry.
- Ticket prices, age guidelines, re-entry procedures, and box-office availability will be confirmed before sales open. Details Coming Soon
- Festival admission does not include tattoos, artist deposits, food, beverages, crawfish, merchandise, parking, or other separately priced services unless expressly stated at checkout.
- Lost, stolen, duplicated, or unauthorized resale tickets may not be honored.
- Guests are responsible for purchasing through official links published by the event.
Security, Bags & Prohibited Items
All guests and belongings may be subject to screening. Entry may be denied to anyone who refuses required screening or possesses a prohibited item.
Generally prohibited
- Weapons, firearms, knives, explosives, fireworks, and items intended to cause harm
- Illegal drugs, outside alcohol, and drug paraphernalia
- Professional audio/video equipment, drones, laser pointers, or disruptive devices without written authorization
- Items prohibited by the Mississippi State Fairgrounds or public-safety officials

Tattoo Appointments & Services
- Tattoo services, pricing, consultations, deposits, and appointment terms are arranged directly between each guest and tattoo artist.
- Event admission does not guarantee an appointment with any artist.
- Guests receiving tattoos must meet applicable identification, consent, health, and age requirements.
- Participating artists operate independently and are responsible for their professional services.
- Follow all aftercare instructions provided by your artist and seek appropriate medical attention for health concerns.
Guest Conduct
Southern InkFest is committed to a welcoming environment for artists, vendors, staff, and guests.
- Harassment, threats, fighting, discrimination, unwanted touching, theft, property damage, and dangerous or disruptive behavior are prohibited.
- Respect tattoo artists’ workspaces, equipment, clients, boundaries, and photography preferences.
- Do not enter restricted, production, backstage, booth-service, or artist-only areas without authorization.
- Management may remove any person whose behavior threatens safety, operations, or the experience of others. Removal may occur without refund.
Accessibility, Children & Service Animals
We intend to provide an accessible event experience. Guests needing accommodation information should contact the event team before attending.
- Children must remain under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
- Final youth admission and guardian requirements will be confirmed before ticket sales. Details Coming Soon
- Only trained service animals as defined by applicable law are permitted where animals are otherwise restricted. Emotional-support animals and pets are not automatically considered service animals.
Weather, Schedule Changes & Emergencies
Southern InkFest includes indoor and outdoor programming. Weather, artist availability, production conditions, safety concerns, government directives, or other circumstances may require schedule, location, entry, or programming changes.
- Performance times, appearances, activities, vendors, and schedules are subject to change.
- Follow event staff, venue personnel, posted notices, and emergency instructions.
- Weather-related ticket and cancellation terms will be published with the final ticket policy before sales open. Details Coming Soon
Photography & Media Coverage
Photography and video recording may occur throughout the event. By entering, attendees acknowledge that they may appear incidentally in event photography, video, livestreams, broadcasts, or promotional coverage where permitted by law.
- Always ask an artist and client before closely photographing or recording a tattoo session.
- Commercial photography, professional filming, interviews, drones, and media production require prior approval.
- Media credential information will be released separately.
Food, Merchandise & Independent Purchases
- Food, beverages, crawfish, tattoos, merchandise, and vendor services are purchased separately from admission.
- Artists, food trucks, and vendors are independent operators and establish their own pricing, payment, return, appointment, and service policies.
- Questions or disputes about an independent purchase should first be directed to the applicable seller.
- Outside food and beverage rules, including medically necessary exceptions, will be confirmed in the final guest information. Details Coming Soon
Parking, Transportation & Personal Property
- Official parking locations, fees, accessible parking, rideshare areas, and entry gates will be announced before the event. Details Coming Soon
- Do not leave valuables unattended. The event, venue, vendors, and participating artists are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
- Follow all posted traffic, parking, and pedestrian directions.
Application & Booth Payment Policy
Artist, vendor, and food truck applications are reviewed. Submission does not guarantee acceptance or placement.
- Payments are nonrefundable after acceptance.
- Applicants who are not accepted receive a full refund.
- For approved deposit plans, remaining booth balances are due March 1, 2027.
- Application-specific agreements and checkout terms control if they differ from this general summary.
